Menifee pony code of conduct

for Players, Coaches, Parents and Spectators

Menifee Pony Baseball (MPB) strives to create a positive atmosphere where children learn the game of baseball, develop values and have fun.  All members of the MPB community have a role to play in creating this positive atmosphere.  By giving careful thought to these codes of conduct and putting effort into living up to them, you can help create this positive atmosphere.

Please read the Parent’s Code of Conduct below and review the Player’s Code of Conduct with your child.  All players, coaches, parents and spectators will be held to the Code of Conduct below.


PLAYERS - CODE OF CONDUCT

PLAYERS WILL:
  1.   Follow the direction of the Coaching Staff.
  2.   Respect all, coaches, players, league officials, umpires and spectators.
  3.   NOT use abusive or profane language.
  4.   NOT taunt or humiliate any other player.
  5.   NOT question an umpire’s call.


COACHES - CODE OF CONDUCT

COACHES WILL:
  1.   Be positive role models, teaching good sportsmanship and providing the players a positive experience.
  2.   Provide instruction in a manner that is safe, constructive and supportive.
  3.   Treat all coaches, players, league officials, umpires and spectators fairly and with respect.
  4.   Comply with all league decisions, rules, policy and procedure.
  5.   Be drug and alcohol free while at any league event.
  6.   NOT use any tobacco products or e-cigarettes in the dugout, playing field or park.
  7.   NOT use abusive or profane language.


PARENTS & SPECTATORS - CODE OF CONDUCT

PARENTS AND SPECTATORS WILL:
  1.   Be positive role models and help provide the players a positive experience.
  2.   Treat all coaches, players, league officials, umpires and spectators fairly and with respect.
  3.   Make certain that their children show respect for all other players, coaches, officials and spectators.
  4.   Support the league rules, regulations and bylaws.
  5.   Be drug and alcohol free while at any league event or activity.
  6.   NOT use any tobacco products or e-cigarettes in the dugout, playing field or park.
  7.   NOT question an umpire’s call.
  8.   NOT use abusive or profane language.
