mpb board of directors

Job Descriptions

The MPB board operates the league, determines costs necessary to run the league, and sets applicable fees to cover the league expenses. The board meets on a regular basis to review league-related issues. Participation by board members during these meetings helps us discuss and find the best solutions for our organization.  Our meetings are twice per month, but not every month, as we do skip several when things are calm.  We meet approximately 12 to 15 times per year, usually 7:00pm or 7:30pm, and meetings typically last about an hour.

Board member positions are for one year (July 1-June 30), and Executive Board positions for two years, but we do encourage members to return for another term in the same or a different role. You can see a list of current board positions below. Besides duties specific to those positions, Board members are asked to participate in meetings and at our main events. These events include Opening Day, Closing Day and Player Assessments.

If you are interested in joining the MPB Board just go to your Account page and click the Volunteer tab, then look for the 'Board Member' option.  To contact a board member, CLICK HERE.
