The Hit-A-Thon is a fun, half-day event that gives our players a chance to show off their hitting skills and support the league, all while trying to win exciting prizes. The Hit-A-Thon will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Wheatfield Park.  

At the event, players have 5 chances to hit a ball off of a tee, as far as possible. The best of 5 hits becomes the recorded distance. Sponsors (friends, family, etc) are asked to make a "per foot" pledge or  flat-rate pledge. (i.e. $1 per foot, or $30 flat pledge)

A weblink with 99Pledges will go out to parents of all players to collect donations. Players are encouraged to start collecting pledges now up until the events end date.  At the event, the Event leader will have a 99Pledges log at the field. The 99pledges event page will be updated.  Winners will be posted, and then announced on MPB’s Closing Day.

These are just some of the prize categories we are planning on awarding for.  

GRAND PRIZE - most $ raised by player, league-wide 
Individual Prize - most $ raised by player, each division
Individual Prize - furthest distance by player, each division
Team Prize - for most total distance (per player average) by team, each division
Team Prize - for most total $ raised by team (overall)
AND MORE

TIERED HITTING PRIZES (see flyer for list):
 Each level reached earns player that prize as well as prizes at all preceding levels.

SPECIAL BONUS TARGETS will be placed on the fields for the kids to hit
